K·C·尼古勞（Kyriacos Costa Nicolaou，1946年6月5日-），?出生于賽普勒斯卡拉瓦斯，畢業(yè)于倫敦大學(xué)，曾任加利福尼亞大學(xué)化學(xué)教授，斯克里普斯研究所教授等，賽普勒斯裔美國(guó)化學(xué)家，有機(jī)合成大師級(jí)人物之一。他在天然產(chǎn)物全合成、全合成策略領(lǐng)域卓有成就，合成了包括紫杉醇在內(nèi)的數(shù)十個(gè)標(biāo)志性分子。

經(jīng)歷

1946年 在賽普勒斯卡拉瓦斯出生，希臘裔。他在那念書(shū)、長(zhǎng)大，直至 18 歲。

1964年 來(lái)到英國(guó)，學(xué)了兩年英語(yǔ)，后進(jìn)入倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)化學(xué)。1969年 在 Bedford College 取得理學(xué)學(xué)位。

1972年 取得倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)院博士學(xué)位，師從 F. Sondheimer 和 P. J. Garratt 教授。

1972年 來(lái)到美國(guó)，在哥倫比亞大學(xué)（1972－1973，師從 T. J. Katz 教授），哈佛大學(xué)（1973－1976，師從 E. J. Corey），獲博士后。后成為賓夕法尼亞大學(xué)的 Rhodes-Thompson 化學(xué)教授。

1989年 被任命為圣地牙哥加利福尼亞大學(xué)化學(xué)教授，斯克里普斯研究所（Scripps Research Institute）Darlene Shiley 教授、化學(xué)系主任。

1996年 被任命為 Scripps 研究所的 Aline W. 和 L.S. Skaggs 化學(xué)生物學(xué)教授。
