主要從事非線性雙曲型偏微分方程及其相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的研究。利用補(bǔ)償列緊理論研究雙曲守恒律組近似解的收斂性及弱解的存在性；具有耗散結(jié)構(gòu)的雙曲守恒律組解的漸近行為；具有真空的Navier-Stokes方程組及相關(guān)流體力學(xué)方程組解的爆破準(zhǔn)則和整體經(jīng)典解的存在性；Boltmann方程及Vlasov-Poisson-Boltzmann方程解的存在性及解的大時(shí)間行為等。
