人物簡介

杰西卡·羅森(Jessica Rawson)教授在大英博物館工作二十余年，長期 擔(dān)任大英博物館東方古物部主任，1994年后又執(zhí)教于牛津大學(xué)中國藝術(shù)與考 古專業(yè)教授，是目前中國藝術(shù)與考古領(lǐng)域最為活躍的西方學(xué)者之一。自從學(xué) 生時(shí)代起，她就致力于通過物質(zhì)文化來研究古代中國。在過去三十五年的學(xué) 術(shù)生涯中，她試圖了解常出土于墓葬中的青銅器、玉器及其他工藝品是如何 被使用的，從而進(jìn)一步去理解這些器物的制作造者的技藝、生活和信仰。
